Are you literally OVER all of your Thanksgiving food? I definitely am at this point. But I still have a bit of turkey left, so I need to find some ways to make additional meals out of it. A few months ago, I was in restaurant, and they had a turkey with stuffing sandwich. I wasn’t brave enough to try, but it definitely left me with a lasting impression. As a result, I decided to give it a try, and created my own turkey stuffing cranberry sauce slider. I hope you like it.
Here is how I made it.
1. Spit a dinner roll/yeast roll in 1/2 and toast.
2. Place leftover stuffing in a saute pan. On medium heat, saute stuffing so that it becomes warm and easier to separate. Add some shredded carrots to the stuffing while sauteing. Gives it a bit of color, plus the added vegetable benefit!!!
3. In another saute pan, saute leftover turkey on medium heat. Make sure the pot isn’t too hot, as you don’t want to dry out your turkey.
4. Once both turkey and stuffing have been warmed up, add stuffing on top of the bottom bun. Next add turkey, and then the cranberry sauce. I used homemade cranberry sauce, but you can also your canned cranberry sauce. Add top bun and cut in 1/2.

Your version sounds yummy!!
I love stuffing sandwiches! My favourite, pre-veg, was exactly as you made it here, but it’s also wonderful with just the stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a slice or two of sharp cheddar cheese for us veg-heads. Yummy!
I will try this version also!!!
