For this weeks #SundaySupper, I decided to make a yummy and easy tortilla treat that I saw here!!!
I am not big into baking, but I love to make fun and easy desserts for my family. This dessert is super easy to make, and your family will LOVE it!!

All you need is some flour tortilla, a heart shaped cutter, cinnamon sugar (I used 1/2 cinnamon in 1/2 cup granulated sugar), and oil. Garnish will include diced strawberries, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and mint.

Use the cutter to cut tortillas into heart shapes. Add oil to a fry pan. Once oil is hot, add cut out tortillas. Pay close attention, as they brown up fast. Once brown on both sides, remove from oil, toss into cinnamon-sugar mix, then place on platter.

Once enough tortillas have been fried and tossed in cinnamon sugar, arrange on a platter, and garnish with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, diced strawberries, and mint.
Enjoy!!

Such a cute and yummy looking VDay dessert
What a great idea, perfect for Valentine’s Day!!
I love how easy yet delicious this recipe is. I used to work at Taco Time right out of high school and we used to make this exact dish – we’d cut up and deep-fry tortillas, then smother than in sugar cinnamon. I loved eating them, smoking hot out of the oil. You’re bringing back some pretty sweet memories with this post!
These look so good!I love the sweet take on tortillas and so easy to make
Fried and tossed in cinnamon sugar? Oh my goodness, I love this!!
These are soo cute!
I made a version of these on Thursday for the kids at work – baked, but they were SUCH a hit! They’re on the docket today too
These sound right up my alley – crispy and delish! I LOVE the heart shapes too!
There’s a Mexican restaurant back home that makes sopapillas and serves them in a similar way. I don’t know why it never occurred to me to make them at home. Thanks for the idea! Love that you shaped them with a cookie cutter
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I’m making this with my nephews and niece next time I see them!
Easy and flavors that go so well together!
What a wonderful little treat!
So cute! I’m going to make this tomorrow with my boys for desert.
Cinnamon, Sugar, Chocolate…Yay! I love the flavor combination. Yum,
What a cute and simple Valentine’s dessert idea
