Do you have a favorite dessert? When you are in the mood for something sweet, what do you typically grab? Are you big on watching calories when you are indulging on something sweet?
I’m not a HUGE dessert eater, but when I do eat dessert, I love to eat cookies. And when I’m really trying to be good, I look at the calories…LOL
I not a fan of heavily frosted/sugary cookie. I like my cookies to either be chewy or crispy, and made from natural ingredients I can read.
And one of my FAVORITE ways to eat cookies, is alongside a cold glass of milk…YUM!!
A few months ago, I was introduced to a company called HannahMaxSnacks, who make crunchy cookie chips. Their motto is, “Taste like a cookie, eats like a chip.” The cookie chips are all natural, contain no trans fats, no preservatives, no GMOs, no artificial flavors and colors, and 120 calories per serving. Intrigued by this company, I contacted HannahMaxSnacks to learn more about their cookie chips. The folks at HannahMaxSnacks was great to talk to, were kind enough to send me samples of their cookie chips to try out and review.
You guys already know I was excited about receiving these goodies in the mail. I received a bag of original, chocolate chip, cinnamon sugar, dark chocolate chocolate chip, and sea salted peanut butter. These cookie chips are light weight, crispy, and taste homemade. You can actually taste the vanilla, butter, cinnamon, chocolate, and peanut butter flavors, added into these cookie chips. After eating a few, it was really hard for me to believe they were not homemade. I did want to note, based upon the cookie chips being so light weight and crispy, they do break easily. So you will see broken up pieces of the cookie chips when you open up a package. I just snacked on the broken pieces, or added them into my yogurt parfait.
My kids also loved these cookie chips, and requested for them to be added into their lunch box. Here are HannahMax Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Chips in my kids Laptop Lunches lunch box.
Lunch box contains sauteed shrimp, romaine lettuce, roma tomatoes, shredded mozzarella cheese, pita bread, and HannahMax cookie chips.
Overall I was really happy with these cookie chips, and would definitely purchase in the future. I love the fact that they are all natural, and made with ingredients that I actually have in my pantry. I can pretend I actually made them when sharing with others…LOL
